The R&D center consists of R&D staff in headquarters and Shanghai branch, including professional mechanical structure engineers, liquid pressure engineers and industrial design engineers,and the center is equipped with design studio, trial studio and international first-class laboratory with ISO17025 certification. Every year, LEO invests a great sum on R&D, so up to now has developed over 460 models approved with international certificates of CE, GS, UL, CB, EMC, EMF and ETL,etc, and has obtained 31 patents, with 20 more in application. Meanwhile, we have cooperated with many famous domestic universities and scientific research academics & institutes such as Zhejiang University, Jiangsu University and Zhejiang Mechanical & Electrical Design& Research Academy to upgrade technology-developing ability.

As one of standard drafters for water pump industry in China, with strong R&D power, especially electric motor developing ability , LEO has gained recognition from famous international water pump and garden machinery factories, namely METABO in German, SPERONI, GGP in Italy, and has set up long-term cooperation relationship with them .
